QUOTE (digisatman @ May 22 2004, 10:40 PM)
you have to make about 5-6 button presses and there is a ROE problem, so this isnt a very good exploit......instead of a mod-chip....

What the hell are you talking about?huh.gif  Check the last page or so... biggrin.gif

just read carefully digisatman. I'm not talking about the 'easter-egg exploit'

I'm talking about the 'update exploit' and you don't need to press any buttons to trigger that exploit biggrin.gif

First I want to thank the geniuses behind all this. I don't want to mention names for fear of forgetting someone, but you know who you are...

I previously used the DD exploit (for fear of the clock loop), but this works better for my scenario since i have an untouched box that i use for live and so i really have no need to boot to the ms dash first.

I've have retained access to the ms dash though (just in case)... in stead of renaming fonts/f0nts i changed the xtf/xft extentions and patched the xbe.

Is there any chance of clock loops?

Again - My only XBOX has K:4817 - and used it to get the exploit working.

i mean: what's a good, free win32 prog for encoding into base64?

btw, i think every exploiter should have this easter-egg on their box.  if nothing else, it is a very good backdoor in case something else fails.
