Bios Help?

ok i just got a x2.3 lite + and when i turn the chip on and turn the xbox on it goes to the cromewell bios right well i put X2.4983 along with flashbios 3.03 and burned it to a cd-r and put it in my xbox when it asks for a cd to flash the bios and it says no bios updated.  halting..

then it just site there and nothing happens why it wrong to put flashbios 3.03 with the X2.4983? if not what could i have done wrong
should i use better media?

remame the bios to bios and add the dummy file then burn  example....................4983.67_512k rename to bios. then aDD the dummy and burn        workrd 4 me

wy aren't you using the 5035 bios??

ure best bet would be to have 5035 bank 1/2 flashbios cromwell 3/4 512kb each to make 1mb bios file. i have never used a dummy file and it's always worked but with flashbios 3.03 i just type in xbox ip adress in internet explorer and trandfer it across smile.gif

the open up the ini file make assorted changes. or use a toold for it then dump it in root of e or f drive need to ftp in so use evox to do it
