Hello,

I have an Xbox limited edition, which comes with Midtown Madness 3 and Halo.
I tried shag's tutorial, and by the time I boot with an audio cd and follow the
Usual Key sequence B-DOWN-A-Right-Right-A-A-A it appears a black screen
with green fonts which states that there is a problem, contact with the product
Vendor (etc.) followed by some Chinese words. Additionally the green led on the
Xbox face flashes RED.

The only difference with shag's E drive structure is that in the root Folder (E)
I have a default.xbe instead of the linux.xbe which shag123 states

Do I have to rename that file from default.xbe to linux.xbe, and if I rename it
do you think that there will be any problem, when I will try to reboot my Xbox again
(I mean do I need that file "default.xbe")

PLEASE help me!!!!

I am at the same point. Copied st.db to e:tdataxxxxxxxxxxxaudio and copied pbl 1.3.5i to e: and put skins, evoxdash.xbe and evo.ini on c: drive, but when i do they key combo i get an error 21 please contact customer service.

I have been unable to load the m7 bios in xbtool (keep getting messages) so i presume it will load evoxdash.xbe from c:, i have also renamed default.xbe to linux.xbe on the e:

any ideas?

Place the "contents" of (PBL 1.3.5i) in the root of E:
Evoxdash.xbe and evo.in (Mordens package) are going in E:evox (NOT in C:)

In order to load the m7 bios in the xbtool follow the steps that bruder_s
states in his post:

- Go to xbtool/config/more configs
- Copy the debug.ini in there to xbtool/config
- edit the new debug.ini, find line rc4key= and add the key found in boot.cfg from mordens audio package

Cool, will try that, i think it was my fault for being thick, i was using the boot.cfg from pbl which is just 0x00 0x00 0x00 and so on

Lo all,

i seen a lot of talk about keys and suck like, but nothing really said about them in the tutorial, do i need to worry about these? (do i need ot find them and put them in any files?)

Let me know if i got this right..

Get FTP access to my Xbox (got mordens package on my mem card so this will load up to evo-x yes? or do i need to use MechassaultwithEvox.rar)

Extract PBL1.3.5i and rename the default.xbe in it to linux.xbe

Now dont need to do anything with the EvoxM7 Bios, just extract it from the zip/rar

Shag123- you say that you changed it to load e:evoxevoxdash.xbe - how?

Copy the ST.DB to e:tdatafffe0000music/ @ evoxdash and evoxini to e:/evox/ (all from mordens package)

Copy all the PBL files to e:/ and add M7 bios into e:/bioses

Is that it? i understand it (i tihnk) just give me the green light on this and will give it a bash tonight, i also heard that the EvoXD6_EjectFix_bfm.bin bios works, is this true?

You can either use morden's to gain ftp access or mechassaultwithevox. It doesn't matter. Also, yes u can just use morden's from you mem card, saved to your harddrive then once u got ur ftp up, transfer the st.db, evox.ini, and evoxdash.xbe. M7 needs to be renamed to xboxrom.bin. I hope that answers your questions. I just recently got it working on my friends 1.5 box with Shag's help.

Hello, I have a new Tetrix/Clonewars 1.5 Bundle and I can get the pbl to load up with the audio exploit, but after the logo it will go to a black screen and doesn't seem to load the bios. I have tried M7 and 4979 and M6 all BFM. Evox is located on the C: as I haven't modified the Bios's to point elsewhere.

I am thinking its my boot.cfg file but I am using the one from the signed 1.35 pbl.

Any Suggestions?

Use pbl 1.3.5i., me and a friend assumed that the files where the same, but it makes all the difference. Had the same probs as you, but after following the shag's tut with exactly the right files, we finally got it to work.

Ok, well heres something I haven't read in the forums before. The first tetris/clonewars bundle, had a manufacture date of 9-13-03 and no matter what I tried Pheonix 1.3.5i would freeze before loading Evox. I tried another bundle with a manufacture date of 8-23-03 with the same files and it loads Evox fine so maybe there is something in the new one that prevents pheonix from working its magic.

Just a thought I could be horribly wrong but maybe MS has fixed the software bios loading or something.
