ok i wont disagree with you but by fix i meant the fonts that reset the clock to july 4th at every boot which,, for me ,, and for everyone i THOUGHT it had fixed the loop problem,, if not,, well i stand corrected, and prostrait myself before you.

Nice Xboxhakur but I would suggest that you use the swapless audio hack incase you havn't and which will be installed by default fonts I hope
Oh and will it be for version 1.3.5i only tthus the bg.jpg in this thread and will people put the bios/evox/rc4key in after installing or before installing

whats the whole deal with the rc4 key anyways,, wheres the legality in giving the rc4 key in the installer,,  whats his face did it with the signed pbl.

or is it cool to just take my rc4 key from my exsisting PBL config and paste it in there ?

as far as i know all the boot from media bios's use the same rc4 key and it should be alright to just use the one from u're existing PBL config (might have to modify it to look for evoxdash.xbe in e:pheonix though, depends on which one u have, and how its setup)

personally since the other guy posted the signed pbl with the rc4 key in it already i think you guys should to.

i dont see any reason why you cant..  or is there a reason why you CANT , legally i mean.

over all i think the installer should just install it and reboot and it works,, end of story any EXTRA stuff is even better but basically make it install what is needed., if you all have fonts that work,, include them in the installer,, make it rename your current fonts,, make it install in the proper directory, basically make it as easy to install as it can be. other wise its just going to make more and more trouble,, people not doing stuff right,, and crashing their boxes.. and then all hell is gunna break loose in here. lol.


also is there any reason why the install would NOT work if i run MEch Assault from the hard drive ?
meaning load the game from the hard drive,, then run the installer ?  or will that cause some massive troubles ?

also since i already have fonts with PBL  this is installing the fonts in the regular font folder ?? or on the E drive. ?  if i install it and it dont work,, i dont want to thrash my exsisting exploit. know what i mean?

no thats normal as far as i know no raw file. it just says paste files into C drive it dont say anything about NEEDING 1.3

well since i dont even know where to download this thing i cant tell you but i can guess.

first what bios's did you use ? the working ones from your exsisting pbl install ?

and your using pbl 1.3 ?  try 1.3.5 bios's go in a folder called bioses just like you have.

i thought there was more to this than what you did,, maybe im wrong but i thought it looks likeyou were missing a number of steps.

how did you make the fonts ?  with that binary goofy program ? that makes a rar inside of a rar ?

and someone wanna pm me or tell me here where to download this from ill take a peek and see what i can find out.

my system is already running bert vs ernie with pbl 1.3.5.i

all i am going to do is set it up so that when i click MS Dash from evox, it loads the hacked MSdash.

my ms dash is called newdash.xbe,,, so what i want to do is take the bert and ernie from mech installer, and rename them bert2 and ernie2,, then hex newdash.xbe so that it looks for bert2.xbe and ernie2.xbe.

then,, the dash should load and everything should be cool

i got 1.3.5i in efeenix  and bioses in the feenixbios folder

is there ANYTHING else that goes into the phoenix folder?   OR does evox need to go into the phoenix folder.  if so tell me so i can put a copy of evox into efeenix.


****  shit i just remembered,,,,, the installer patches some file(s) dont it ?  damn ,, see this is another reason why EVERYTHING should be stuck in the E:/feenix folder   not only protecting your C drive but also eliminating and harm to exsisting xbe files.

well,,, im not sure if a manual install is possible  as xboxhakur and the other guys working on this havent replied back yet,

does the installer infact patch a file or 2 ?
meaning a manual install of these files is impossible as they need to be patched ??

or is it all in the font files that makes it all happen ?

as far as i know, you have to run the installer at least ONCE then you can switch out the fonts for whatever version ya want (15 meg ones)

the fonts were specifically created for this go ahead and replace them and see what happens.

but he wasnts to use the fonts from the hack on a regular font exploit and the answer is no,, i would say no ,, but xbox hakur will have to give a yes or no to be positive

so has anyone actually taken the fonts that are the hex edited ones and put them in the mech installer from binz,, and ran the installer ??

or have these people who have tested it got copies from xboxhakur ?

and the "15 meg" font is the one that xboxhakur and crew made,, so you will want to use those if you use the installer,, its why it now says phoenix and not linux or evox.
its also why its more successful and stable.

or does the installer xboxhakur is working on have more to it than the installer from you know where ?
