Phoenix_Bios_Loader_1.3.rar will work with the font, but not my pack. The linux.xbe is signed with -habibi not -font, it would be best if you just downloaded the normal package. You can use the boot.cfg & phoenix.raw files though, that will work for either.

Note: If you noticed nexgen.xbe is included in my package. This is *not* nexgen. It's renamed evox, hopefully to avoid any xbox live checks with the new updated dashboard coming out later this month. I doubt it means anything, but it's worth a try smile.gif

are you loading pbl from a gamesave? or is it booting from the hdd?

there is a known (not currently fixable) issue with running pbl from gamesave...'reset on eject' exactly what you are expreiencing, but it should work from booting from the hdd

the issue with the gamesave, is that there is a lot of reverse engineering the pheonix guys would have to do to cancel the behavior that is established by the game u boot from, to reset on eject. but that behavior isn't introduced if you boot from the hdd. so, pbl will always have the 'reset on eject' issue from a gamesave load, but you should not experience it from a regular boot

now i have phoenix bios loader on my xbox (it works great) but i still have the eject bug. if i eject the tray  comes out a little and then closes and the xbox reboots.
is there a way to fix this?

I don't know about the font exploit, but i'm using that audio exploit with phoenix bios loader 1.3 & have no clock / reset on eject / xbox live problems (not yet atleast). Maybe you should try it out if you are having problems.

i don't know about you..but i'm fine with just erasing all files i've put in to my C drive and restoring the old ones.. if i ever wanted to go on xbox live.. i can always just drag them back.. i haven't tried the audio hack yet so here..i cannot help you..and NO just too confirm with him..reset on eject will still not work as of yet through a gamesave. it must be booted through the HD

A couple of questions.  I have the 5010 bios machine.  I used the Signed_Phoenix_Bios_Loader_V1.3.rar and now when I boot, my bios is 4977.  This is not the real problem.  The problem that I have now is that some of the games previously work on my machine no longer works.  The sound is working but the screen is all messed up.

that's because the BFM bios that comes with the PBL is a 4977

K-Pax
I'm also getting the same problem.
I installed the Phoenix Bios Loader and it works, but when I press the ejects button it resets.
Does anyone have an idea?

Ok, I acn't figure out exactly what went wrong here. I got everything setup properly.

V: 1.1
K: 4034
D: 4920
E&B Reloaded
PBL v1.3
x2 4977 non BFM
evox 1.8.3752

With the font exploit by itself the box boots up into evox just fine. Now I tried to install PBL so that i fix that damn blinking LED and actually have a working IGR but it does not boot past the Phoenix logo, i just get a back screen. I 've done everything right (as far as I can tell) here's my setup.

xbox c:
- xboxdash.xbe
- evoxdash.xbe (-font signed)
- default.xbe (-font signed PBL)
- xboxrom.bin (x2 4977 non BFM set to load evoxdash.xbe)
- phoenix.raw
- boot.cfg (with the correct EEPROM & RC4 keys)
- and of course evox.ini, items.txt, the M$ fonts and all the subfolders

I've tried several different BIOS ROMs (the one that came with PBL, another modified x2 4977, and now just the original x2 4977).. I can't tell whether the BIOS is not loading or when it's just not loading evoxdash.xbe.

Any suggestions...

did you specify the correct name for the bios too load in the cfg..and if you changed the bios in XBTool make sure too save it as a debug.
