yes you can. just resize it with x2bm (x2 bios manager) to be 512k then use flashx to flash it. for differences, read the features summaries of both. the only thing that could possibly be seen as an advantage is that there is no "XECUTER2 CONFIG LIVE LOADING" screen with the m8.
