For some reason, M8 (even the one Yoshiro changed with the 1.6b timings) didn't work on my 1.6b, but 5035 worked like a charm.  I also like the Live Config feature of the X2 bios!

Long story short:  Xecuter 2 5035 is an excellent BIOS for any Xbox, including 1.6 and 1.6b.

How do you use the live feture I jusy flashed wiht it and am haveing tons of problems with XBMC and other apps?

not quite sure what you mean...

the x2 config live? it just means it loads its info from an ini file on your hdd. so to "use" it i guess you would juest edit the ini.

is that what you are asking?

the evox.ini is used by the dashboard evox (you'll need this no matter what bios you use as long as you are running the evox dash). the x2 ini is for the x2 bios.

You replied before I copuld edit. I am having probs with the 5035 bios not alowwing xbmc and other apps to work so i resized my M8+1.6 and flashed the second banck on the chip. I am installing the apps and dash AWS. I just want to know if I can have both INI files on my HDD and use both bios?

so did that answer your question? the evox.ini is for the dash, not for the evox bios. but yes, you can use both (not at the same time, obviously)

Ok let me start over I used the 5035 bios for a 1.6 box woks fine but when trying to install the apps from slayers i can use half of um(red) . I flashed the second banck with a resized custom M8+1.6 and am installing the hdd again. I guess is waht I am asking is if I use the Evox.ini I need to use the M8 and if I use the X2 ini I need to use the X2.ini? Can I have both on the c drive (partition) ?

BTW I cant type woth a sh1t

yes you can have both on the c drive. the evox.ini is for the dash (not the evox bios, you WILL need this regardless of what bios you use) in other words, you dont need an ini file at all for the evox bios, but you DO NEED the evox.ini file for the dashboard.

I believe this is because the evox.ini file is pointing to an incorrect directory. I had to edit my .ini file so that is pointed to the proper directory to find the apps. Examine your xbox hdd, note where things are, then open evox.ini and make sure the pointers are correct. Edit as necessary.

Yes the ini file was pointing to the wromg thing. But that is only because the thing it was pointing to wasnt there? I tried to ftp the info from the slayers disk and replace it but no go it isnt red anymore but XBMP still will not work?

forget the outdated XBMP...just download XBMC from xbins.
