I don't think you can force 480p into games by hacking a bios. Some games just don't allow 480p (PAL Gta San Andreas...), but you can force them to display 480p by hex editing their "default.xbe".

a bit of a bump

i have had a few pm's from various peopel who are saying that they are working on a force 480p (and some are working on a force 720p) patch for xecuter 2 bioses.

to those people, can i ask that you take the most popular vga bioses (the four junkmonkey ind vga bioses [all four of them please]), and apply your patch?

this would make things a lot easier.

i obviously dont have the software or the know how for how to do this, so can some of you smart people who have already started post what you have done so far?

Why don't you check out NKPatcher 11?  It's got a force 480p option.
