i know it sounds like im a sook and cant find anything my self, but i couldnt find the xbox flirt file if my life depended on it.

i really want the bfm bioses up and running (as thats what i use), but i also want to look at the normal ones untill i can get my hands on the rc4 key for the .06 and .07 bfm vga bioses (junkmonkeys vga version of ind)

im going to keep looking, but every link that i find for the flirt file is dead.....

I know I have biostools somewhere, so I will find that for you when I get home from work today. As for the flirt file, you can make one yourself if you have the .dll's from the xdk..

I'm not entirely sure, I may be wron. But..
The changes mentiond were for NKPatcher which modifies a retail bios in memory.

If the BFM bios you are using is not an original that was made BFM and it is one from Evox or Xecuter then it is possible that those references don't exist in the bios. I thought those moded bioses had major changes in them to accommodate the features added by those groups adn as such they had also redesignated certain calls to tie into them better with their own code..

As I said. I could be wrong and probably am.

Good luck in any case though. I'd like to see this happen so I can play some of my 480i only titles on my box that is connected on a component 480p / 1080i only input on my TV. Getting sick of having to change settings and cables every time I want to play one of those titles.

yeah, i see where your coming from

its just that the call "AvSetDisplayMode" sounds like its a proper call that the xbox needs to understand.

i belive that its there, i just dont think that how im opening it with IDA is the right way, or that the FLIRT file has it in there.

if anyoen ahs any experince in modifing xbox bioses, please pass on some info on how to open it properally.
