Making It Pointless To Steal A Xbox

Man I was just robbed today my self.  My xbox....laptop...cell phone....handfull of dvd movies.....

If you install a Sunday IR controlled chip with the pogo IR controller that fits on your key chain then disconnect the front panel power on buttons you would have a pretty secure set up that's powers on only with the remote that's on your key chain.

I don't know if a burglar is going to power up and Xbox to make sure it's not got a password before he steals it.

Even if it did have a password and you stuck a note on the top of it to tell them so before they took it ....

1. They wouldn't believe you.
2. They'd still take it and sell it on without a second thought.


Only answer is to get insurance, and keep your backups in a safe place.
