This has been asked in a roundabout way before, but I couldn't find a simple straight answer.
My situation is that I'm looking for debug and LBA48 addressing functionality in one BIOS for any Xbox at this point. I have 1.0, a 1.6, and 1.6b Xboxes. I've found two Yoshihiro BIOSes, one 256K and one 512K, and neither worked for me. The 256K one starts to boot, but always freezes during the flubber animation. The 512K one simply cold reboots the Xbox. I'm using them in my SmartXX banks at the moment, except for the 1.0 box, which is just TSOP-flashed until I get another modchip.
The only BIOS I've found yet that even almost-works is the Adoubeur BFM one, which is part of the XIG/XDI package, and loaded with Phoenix. However, it lacks LBA48, so I can't see all my stuff. But at least the debugging functions work...that's a start.
So, in short, are there any Debug BIOSes with LBA48, other than the two Yoshihiro ones? Or is it possible to patch LBA48 into any Debug BIOS (preferably the Adoubeur BFM All Versions one mentioned above) without going terribly out of my way to learn assembly?
Thanks!
