man, that sucks, hopefully your surge protector is insured, mine is warranted for 50,000 dollars, so if anything fries while plugged in they will pay for it up to 50 grand

dude you shouldnt had that much power into one supply what were you thinking, a computer alone is about 110 volts then you add in the xboxs about 40 a piece, then your tv depending on size about 10-100 volts. theres no way you should of put that much on there. Also dont post in more then one forum.

yeah, now that im looking at it the scorch marks on the motherboard are on the wrong side of the LPC for a header pin install, arent they?

mmmmm... metal casing on HD is a great conductor you know.. I still don't see how you could have fried 2 other XBOXs and a TV and PC.. you shorted out a PS with a HD... It should have popped the surge protector's reset switch that's all.

im thinking it just blew out the video card in my computer cause everything seems to boot up... but i haven't tested any of that yet

It's always the video card, isn't it?  Iv'e seen another thread here with only the video card busted, and when I shorted out my PC with a HD hotswap, only the video card was fucked up.  Weird. wacko.gif
