You didnt have the XBox connected to a surge protector? Make sure you throw one on before you get another XBox modded up.

yes actually i did... and it killed all my electronics on the surge protector... plus everything that was on the other side of my room.. on the same circuit... including my tv and computer

talk to the manufacturer of the surge protector, ussually they will have a warranty against this, and might infact pay for the dmages
