Ok man I'm gonna help ya out.. This is by far the best most understandable tut/walkthrough I've ever had the pleasure of reading. Its what I used when I first installed my chip and I didnt have a single problem thanx to this tut. It was written back when the nice chameleon was new on the scene but the bios flashing part is what u need to read. Just disreguard the rest of the stuff. Always remember if youre havin hell making a bios cd just download a copy of slayers autoinstaller and use that to flash your bios. Also use a cdrw or dvd instead of a regular cdr. Here's the Link to the tut I'm talking about. Its so perfect that I got it right the very first try and I was a total n00b at the time. GL

Dude thank you so much man I really appreciate it alot but the guide u sent me if for Chmeleon chip would that same stuff work with my spiderchip?

Yes it will.. like I said. Just read the flashing part. Dont bother with the rest of the guide.

It was written with the chameleon chip in mind, but I think it should be made into a universal tut for other chips. If everyone who modded their box knew about this guide they would be sooo much better off and alot more knowledgeable. It should be mandatory to read it.

grr.gif  so then I re hooked everything up put in the org. HD and I get that dumb screen saying my xbox needs work and there a big number on the top left screen. so if anyone could help me on getting the orginal xbox settings for a version 1.0 that would be great! thanks

Post what u just said in the newbie forum and you will get lots of help i'm sure. You could also try softmodding since your chip is now broken. That sux man.. Hope you get your box working again.
