ok i have a executer 3 mod chip with a 160g hardrive in it. I took my eeprom from my 8 g hardrive and put it on my 160g hardrive. I then locked it so i was able to boot the xbox with the mod off and go on xboxlive. It worked for a while until i got banned. I have other frinds that have softmoded there xboxes so they said i can have there eeproms. and i also here about people selling there unbaned eeproms.
My question is i thought that your motherboard will only allow u to have the original eeprom that matches the one your original hardrive had?
I have put new eeproms on my xbox hardrive just by replasing the old one. then i lock the hardrive. boot up my xbox with the mod off. then I get a error message. for me to totally change my eeprom do i have to do more steps?
