Hey guys, just wanted some input...
Im just modding a BIOS and wanted to get some input of the bootup animation.

very nice! i like the inverted logo. and the tube-like flubber is a nice touch. what features are you going to include in the bios? also, are you planning a public release of said bios?

Im currently just fiddling around with the code at the moment but by the time im done it should have some IGR and XBL blocking in it, also trying to put in xlcd support to output a few lines of text until an app takes over.

No public rls is planned as im just playing with it at the moment and doing little tweaks that i like.

i can log on as a differnt guy and give a reply if that makes you feel better. lol. sorry, that really sucks. all that work and i'm the only one to comment. sometimes people just don't feel like taking the time to compliment someone for their excellent work. you did a great job on that animation. far beyond anything i can do, and i am not a n00b by any means. so as a active member of the scene, i give you my thanks for making progress in bios hacking. without people doing the things that you are doing, the scene never would have gotten as far as it is today. far too many people forget that because of all the great hacks that are available freely on the internet. some noob who just bought his xbox modded(which that is 90% of people with mods), they don't relize that it took 4 years of work to get where they are today. hell, they would probably feel special when they figure out how to edit the menus in evox with out a program. "oh, i can make evox skins. that means i'm a hacker, right?". lol. cmon people. give this guy some credit. if you download his video, at least leave a comment and tell him what you think, good or bad. that's why he put it up here.

Well you did say you dont plan to release the bios publicly, so do you really expect tons of feedback? Ok.. so you did a lil animation hack.. way to go. If you were making a new bios and were planing on releasing I'm sure you'd get alot more comments. Why would you get mad about people not replying if your not releasing? I'm sure they have other things to concern themselvs with. By the way you started out the thread you come across as rude, so maybe people were hesitant to reply because you might consider them dumbshits.

I wont release it in its current state because its not the best thing to have running.
Its only good to look at. No IGR, no XBL blocking.

Dont bother posting crap... if its something to do with the topic at hand, its not crap.
If you ask something and genuinly have no idea of the answer, im not gonna go flame you with something like "Y0U D4MN N00B!  :evil: ".

Was just looking for suggestions, or thoughts, ideas... whatever.
I know a few people where looking into removind animation and x logo for a slightly faster bootup, i know a couple who have done it. Just wanted to keep up this side.

If anyone has experience modding a bios from source, message me on irc.
Been having some trouble with direct model replacements.
