What Bios Should I Go For?
« on: July 10, 2005, 10:50:00 PM »

here's my story- as you can tell by my member number i've been around a while, I have a 1.0 xbox and have been using the xecuter2 4980 bios for a long time, i've finally decided to upgrade my HDD (from 60gig to 160gig) and i'm hearing this stuff about bios patching for larger HDDs and stuff like that.

anyway, I figure I should upgrade to a recent bios while i'm stuffing around... but I have absolutely no idea which to choose!

i'm guessing I don't need a multiversion bios, so should I just go with the latest 1.0 xecuter2?
where can I see the features?
will it need patching for my new larger HDD?
i'm also hearing some bios' have VGA support, that sounds pretty neat!

help appreciated

Use the new X2 Live bios X5xxx whatever version, good options and you don't have to worry about LBA48 is supported .
