Hi,

Sorry if this is the wrong forum...I tried to narrow it down.

I am modding my xbox soon and have modded 3 others previously using Slayers 2.6 which I think works quite well. I noticed; however, that there seem to be several good autoinstallers these days. I would be grateful if you guys would be willing to give your opinion on which are the best...preferably if you have used several and can compare and contrast or if you have just used one but love or hate it.

Pros? Cons?

I say go with Auto-Installer Deluxe v2. IT has EVERYTHING you need for modding an Xbox: Exploit packages, up to date BIOSes, dashboards, applications, and documents on how to set up your modded/soon-to-be modded Xbox.

The auto-installer also has a unique way of updating the installer. They've included an updater (PC App) which lets you load the Auto-Installer Deluxe v2 ISO into the app then load the update package next. You click "update" and let it do it's thing. After it's finished, you have an up-to-date installer with added BIOSes, updated apps, emus, dahboards, etc which you need to write to CD/DVD (depending on what DVD-Drive you have)

The only flaw I found in Auto-Installer Deluxe v2 was running the installer on a freshly modded Xbox with a new Hard Drive. When you run it for the first time, you will get an error with a number in the top left, which I forgot what it was. But after updating it, the error is fixed.

Slayer's is also a good installer for those new to the modding scene. The downside to that is everything the installer installs is too old, including the original M$ Dashboard.

I heard the x-wizard multidash autoinstaller is also really nice.
