just use the latest x2 bios - 5024 i think. check out www.teamxecuter.com and look in the top right for the latest number. or just go to the usual places and it'll be there

the 2.6 chip supporst 1mb bios - the x2 bios is a 512 image, so that's half. you can fill up the first bank with flash bios 3.0.1 (make a 512 image) and the second bank of the 2.6 with the x2 bios

That helps me a lot too.  Thanks.  What program do you use to put the file (bios) together?

you can download xecuter bios manager - x2bm i think is the name. i forget the latest version number

when you run the program you'll see it has 4 banks. right click in the first bank, choose open, then locate your flash bios .bin file - you'll see that it only fills up one slot, that's 256 kb. right click again, choose copy. right click in slot 2, choose paste - now it's 512.

right click in slot 3, open, and find your x2 bios .bin file. it's 512 kb so it'll fill up both slots 3 & 4

highlight all the slots, right click, save as - bios.bin - there you go. now that's the file you can flash your chip with.
