Replacing Flubberscreen Animation
« on: July 01, 2005, 02:29:00 PM »

Maybe I am a lame-0 and cant find it on the forums, or I'm not searching for the right thing. I currently use evox m8's with UIX on my Box, however I am currently tryign to find a program/bios that will allow me to replace the flubber screen animation with one of my choice.

Maybe this sounds retarded or whatever, but screw it...

I simply wont be satisfied untill i can make my xbox boot animation the animation from my sega saturn.  --Yes I said Sega Saturn...
but then again the boot screen from my  "Nights into dreams" "Sonic team" animation would rock too..

Regardles I currently have no animation with my evox bios becasue I dont like the original that much.  I know it ant be done with xbtool, evtool, and i have looked for ind bios tools to do the same thing however so far I have turned up short. I already ahve the listed animations ready to go.. I am jsut looking for a way to get them on startup.  To be honest I dont care if it is done by a dashboard or bios.. I jsut have to have it.

Sega for Life.

from what it sounds you have the animations in some sort of video format... this simply is not going to work (At least not from loading it through the bios).

IndBios is the only bios i know of that provides customizable flubbers.
look here for ones people made:

If you need some video played i'm sure you can use unleash, make a custom skin, and include the animation as a startup video (you'll need to have the video converted to xmv i believe)

Thanx Otherguy.

I was wondering about the video part.  I didn't know if there was ome kind of conversion too ltaht I might look for to possibly accomplish translating them from current format to another.  Also thanks for the rockin link, I may just have to give one of these a try.
