Hi,

I flashed the X2 5035 bios onto one of my SmartXX banks but when I try to execute it, it shuts off the xbox and reboots back to the Smartt XX screen.

I have a 1.4 xbox with a Smart XX 1.0 mod chip.

Am I doing something wrong?

BTW, I am trying to use this bios:

x2_5035_vOld_512k.bin

ummmm..... I am pretty noobish when it comes to bios - But with this particular bios I think that you also have to ftp the x2config.ini to the e:/ drive.

Not sure but I am pretty sure that you have to use it in conjunction with the x2 bios.

Yes, you do have to have the x2config.ini in the root of E: or F:. Use X2 Config Maker to customize it if you want.

i do have the x2config.ini in the root of E drive, but it still powers off the xbox and then powers it back on the SmartXX main screen.
