Ok... so I followed the how-to exactly.

Loaded SC exploit into mem card via AR, transfered over to the HD, removed all other SC saves (from SC2 and 3).

Restarted system with original SC disc (no mem card attached).

Loaded Linux_Profile

Chose checkpoints (none there)... and BAM... Error 21

This happened on BOTH xbox systems I have... so I feel it's a bum exploit then? (obtained from usual source... I belive it's the Krazie 1.1 installer.. but may be 2.8 I have both on my computer right now).

it's just a crappy ar mem card. get an official one

I honestly think that it is your memory card and that if you actually go out and buy an official one then did this again you wouldn't be getting the Error 21. So, it's not a bum exploit just a bum memory card.

I have a M$ card as well. I've put the exploit on both cards and tried it with the same results (as that was my first guess was a stupid card). I'm adding the USB plug to my xbox controller tonight, so I can transfer files again and try something else (maybe a MA exploit)

So I've tried all teh above (M$ card, new exploit, different SC disc (platinum and non-platinum), removed the SAM_PROFILE leaving only LINUX_PROFILE with all teh same result (the M$ dash is updated for live and what not).

Any suggestions?

bad zip of exploit? you re-dl the gamesaves?
