Ok i have an error code 6, says a HDD error as its locked out. I have a bootdisk with ATAPWD and hdunlock, hdlock and hddisable. Now i have got these working with my modded xbox's hdd in my pc which i boot from this disk with the mentioned files.
Problem the unlock hdd key isnt working, ive got a few keys but its still not working. I have the eeprom.bin file read thru liveinfo-beta2 which it read the .bin file. But still no luck. Hdunlock and Hdxxxxx tools say device not ready as its locked i think, and atapwd seems like im entering wrong key in or the return msg means the same thing etc.
When using atapwd from bootdisk it has the + plus signs for S E L i remember definetly but the others not, maybe F and its on max security.
Now do i have to enter what key, is it the master or user password i have to enter for it.
plus is there any program i can use other than this that will enable normal but mod chip functions of my xbox. As it boots the modded logo of the X then comes with superfro error code 06, the LED flashing red and green.
I know a little about xbox modding and a bit more about PC's, but this area is out of my league. Thanks to anyone that can provdie any links, programs, advice etc etc.
Plus can i put in the xbox hdd in my pc format using a fdisk or gdisk then plug it up to my xbox and use the xbox? what will hapeen after the format (apart from all data gone), what happens to any bios etc?
