i have a modded box with an x3ce. i have another stock box. can i mod the stock one without using the mechassault mod or having to buy another mod chip?

the reason why i post this in this forum is because ive seen other posts with questiosn about mods.

Sure, I think there's a couple hot swap methods, TSOP flash.

But if you want to do it easily just get a duo2x.

if you dont want to use a game save exploit or a modchip...would you really be modding it??

only other option is hotswap (not that easy or fun)
or tsop flash (get a conductive pen if possible)(and no this not fun either)specially wit no solder skills

well, most of the tutorials on x-s. are not updated. ive got a splinter cell game, its splinter cell pandora tommorrow. the platinum hits version. im not sure if that can be used for the game exploit. and can i use a usb drive to transfer the files, or does it have to be a MS memory card?

softmod is rediculously easy now...especially if you have a cdrw and a autoinstaller

u could pot tweak ur dvd rom, then throw in an autoinstaller disc, an see if it will read it

personally i would jus get action replay, and a splinter cell/mech assualt/007 installer.... then switch from evox as soon as possible lol

try to go to a rental store and see if they got mechassault, or splinter cell (the first one)
or you can always go to a used game store and pick it up..prolly round 5 bucks i bought splinter cell, mechassault and the 007 agent under fire all NON PLATNIUM hits versions for like 10 bucks for all 3...so they cheap enuff too..

a buddy of mine has the mechassault that came with his xbox live kit a couple years back. next time i go there im going to check the numberrs on it. what about the memory card, can a usb memory stick thing work as the memory card?

i dono if you can use a memory stick lol.... when i didnt have any mods at all i had a mad cats mic that converted a controller memory slot to a usb. i tryd to copy the music off my mp3 player onto it and it didnt work, so then after about a week i plugged my mp3 player into my computer it got currupted and i had to format it.

edit: my mp3 player is just a memory stick that has the abilty to read music files. some arnt the same same, some need programs to have the mp3 player work with your computer.(maby converts the music or something) just like a memory stick when plugged in it reads as a removable drive.
