Easy Way To Find Rc4 Key
« on: April 30, 2005, 09:17:00 AM »

I'm trying to make my own Debug BFM bios and I can't find a working method to find the bios RC4 Key. I found the RC4 Key for "4979-06-BFM", which was in PBL 1.4.1, but I don't wanna use that bios. I also tried using mcpx 1.1 toolkit, but it doesn't seem to give me the correct RC4 Key because Xbtool also crashes when I put the 20-byte RC4 key from MCPX toolkit into Xbtool Debug config.

Does anyone have a working method for finding the RC4 key for a bios?

All BFM bioses uses the same rc4 - the debug key.
There is a config.rar in xbtool's folder on xbins with 1.0/1.1/multi/debug configs. <

Thanks heinrich.....but one problem.

For some reason I can't get any of the Debug BFM Xecuter2 bios to boot XDK Launcher. The only bios that worked was "Complex 4627 Debug BFM 1MB". I just want a BFM bios with "Partition 6 Takes Rest of the Drive" as the partition scheme and can boot XDK Launcher. Help........ :(

That is a whole other issue - I dont use the x2 bios for debugging, nor a bfm bios.  Maybe someone from xecuter will read this thread, though. <

tatx - this has no lba48 support though(I use a G drive, so I can continue to use my F drive with an older bios), so probably not what you are looking for. <

Does anyone know of a debug bios that has LBA48 support and can be used to boot XDK Launcher?

Does Complex 4627 Debug v1.03 have LBA48 support?
