Hi, first of all I'm very new to XBox modding, and I have tried to resolve this issue on my own (on and off for over a week).

So I Soft-Modded my v1.0 XBox with "Krayzie_SC-NTSC_Ndure_Installer_v1.1.rar" a few weeks ago. The main reason I did this was to use my XBox to play DVD-Rs with XviD movies on them. However I have not been able to run any burnt media. Only retail discs and files I put on the HD will run. When I startup and the EvoX dash shows some of the specs I always get DVD: Unknown (When Burnt Media is present) and BIOS: Unknown. I've tried using PBL, but everytime I run it, it freezes in the middle of the job. I'm lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

- you don't need pbl
- the bios named unknown is not a problem. You can name it to anything you want in the ini file
- the real problem is with the discs you are using. Either the dvd-media is incompatible with your drive or you are not burning the disc right.

Thanks, krayzie. I'll try using a different brand of media - I know I'm burning it correctly, so that very well could be the problem.

Well I used some Verbatim discs I had lying around and they're running nicely (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)
