Loss Of Hdd Space On Softmodded Xbox?!
« on: May 16, 2006, 06:33:00 AM »

I have locked the Maxtor hdd using xboxhdm and it boots with the 120 GB Maxtor hdd, but after I loaded all my favorite TV Shows to my xbox it will no longer see the F drive and only sees ~8GB on the hdd.  Even if I boot to the "bios" (boot your xbox witht he cd drive open).  Anyone have any clue what could have caused this?

Go into the settings in your dashboard and enable the F drive. Just look around, youll find it.

^I have already done that.  Even with the "bios" that has nothing to do with XBMC it no longer sees the F drive.  I have even double checked and made sure that the F drive is enabled in the bios

sounds like your bios is the same type as when you transfered the goodies. Try reformatting F (and G) or use another type of bios (06 or 67)
