your bios arent extreamly important unless you get stuck with a v1.6 xbox (then ya need m8-16 bios) and since you got the x3 you might want to check out the new x3 bios comin out soon i got xecuter bios. its all about your dashboard in which case avalunch wins if you dont believe me check the polls

well i'm not real sure what i'll get stuck with cause i went to the local store here and they were sold out today, so i'm either going somewhere tomorrow or waiting till this weekend, but it will be brand new out of the box so i'm frigured v 6, but what kind of apps do most of ya run on yours and what do they do to help ya

get a refurbished one there cheaper they work and as soon as you get the xbox your going to void the warranty anyways as for apps you should look for an autoinstaller like slayer 2.6 it sets up everything beutifuly here take a look. download the autoinstaller manual.

you can get them at just about any video-game store, dont know what you have there, but here it would be Rhino's, EB Games (formerly Electronics Boutique), or Gamestop, and also maybe Babbages

well looks to see that i got a xcuter 2.6 any suggestions? and would slayers new version work on it, i also got a 1.6, barly got it, went to 10 different stores over in st louis tryin to find one. so yea they where stugglin after christmas i would say
