first of, this will have nothing the do with bios but sinse i din´t find the right group to post i will post my question here in bios.
i want to do a winter clean for my xbox.
i gone format all of my drives replace eeprom with other one from other xbox.
First Q.
Will there be a problem if i use a eeprom from 1.6 on a 1.1 xbox
do i need to backup any special things like save game and ms dash not gone use it but for other settings maybe.
or can i copy the hole data from other xbox to that one and start from zero there.
I want to do this because sinse a october i cant get any new software running no new media centers
no new games burnout 3 dead or alive ultimate. i have used a lot of diffrent bios´s but no result i am using m8 and 4983 xecutern at the momment. But none of them will boot a game or app.
so i am at the last stage of my mind dont have any ideares left. so i, gone format the hole thing and start for zero.
Hope this will work otherwise i am gone lose a lot of data /
