Flash Bios Before Slayer's Evox?

Newbie here. Spent hours reading tutorials and searching posts, so this question is a last resort because I'm a bit unlcear about this:

Do I need to flash the chip with bios (say M8plus_16) before I install Slayer's Evox Auto-Installer (from what I've read, I think I do), or do I simply intall the chip and boot straight into the Slayer program?

Yes install the bios first and then you can install Slayers.
