Difference Between X2 4983.06 And 4983.67?
« on: December 13, 2004, 10:11:00 PM »

Alright, so i'm trying to figure out how to get evox to use only one big F drive and have no G drive, and I can't figure out if I can do it by editing the evox.ini file. So I thought it may be the BIOS, I have the X2  4983.67 bios, and I was wondering if I need the 4983.06 to have just the F drive? help please. If so How do I reflash the BIOS as I don't have the programmer and I flashed it the first time with the cromwell bios.

How do I reflash a BIOS that I have already flashed if I don't have to programmer? Can I use the cromwell that's in bank 2 and boot up with that then xhoose the option to flash bios from hard drive C:/Bios, or will that flash it over the cromwell that is in bank 2 so I will not have a cromwell bios anymore? I need to flash over bank 1 which is my X2 4983.67... I need some help

Well, i'm rather impatient so I went ahead and tried flashing from cromwell again, and it wrote over the existing X2 bios and not the cromwell bios, which is what I was hoping for, so all should be good now, I guess it can't write over something that is running, so that was stupid of me to think. thanks for the help
