Aight well I installed it fine I think.  I'm trying to get it to "cold boot" now please tell me if this is normal

I use the eject button to boot it up which is suppose to put it in a cold state it goes past the bios and the screen is completely black........is that normal.

If that is normal I have only 1 retail game which is splinter cell :-D i try to load it to see if it will cold boot correctly and it didn't work.  I'm thinking it's because it's scratched to shit.  

Then I tried loading a burned game via the eject button.  that didn't work but I beleive it's because the game isn't signed because it's burned.

Let me know if my ndure is corrupt and if it is how to completely take it off my system and try again.

"coldboot" = turning ON xbox with game already in dvd drive. not that hard.
this is mainly for using LIVE though, it should work fine if installed correctly.

Whose quotes are not for sarcasm it's just I want to be completely sure before selling this box.  
If your talkin about it can bring up evox then ya it's working.  I find it weird that when i hit the eject button that the screen is black.  This didn't happen in ltools.

Are you sure that's how I'm suppose to boot the games to access Live?
Have the disc already in the drive and boot the system with the power button?

God man I don't want this eeprom banned.  I wish there was a way to know if this was workin right.

I didn't explain it correctly it seems I appologize.  

The softmod works fine i can boot up Evox and everything.  I get a black screen when I use the eject button to power on the unit.  Before using your installer krazie I used Ltools.  when I used the eject button with Ltools it would bring up the matrix screen with the ude install ude uninstall etc etc.  I'm just wondering if I installed it correctly.  The softmod works flawlessly I can do everything that I could with Ltools using the power button to boot it.

I'm just hesitant to boot live until I know that it will work correctly.  
From "WHAT I" understand the user is suppose to use the eject button to power on the unit.  This will enable the Shadow C drive.  If I am incorrect or mistaken please stop me there.  
If I'm not my second question to the first is.  After you power on your unit using the eject button to enable teh Shadow C drive is it normal for the screen to be black
(when I power on with the power button there is no black screen it boots to evox).

The problem is mostly with me as I have a hard time understanding and adjusting to new mods and the concepts of how they work so I appologize in advance.

I did read your nfo thoroughly though as to avoid this unfortunetly I'm pretty dumb obviousely.

I allready told you that booting to a black screen is not normal either with the power button nor te eject button.
Dualboot is not enabled by default so you would have to enable it it in the gamesave menu.
However you can go live safely also by using the coldboot method explained earlier

also the eject button or live has nothing to do with the virtual C

2 part question for Krazie.  And I thank you for your patience.

1.)  So what is your suggestion krazie?  You have said it's not normal but I'm lost as to what I should do.

2.)  I'm going to reinstall the softmod even though I've done this before and there still is a black screen with the eject. Anway, so I'm gonna reinstall then enable dualboot.  
Now I need to make absolutely sure before I get on live and get my eeprom banned.
How do I boot my game for live on this softmod.

Anyway I thought this should be mentioned.  I didn't upload the gamesave to my memory card via a rigged station and the action replay software.  My xbox was already modded at the time with ltools so I uploaded it to the memory card from my computer through my patch cord to the controller attatched to my xbox with the memory card.  

From what I understand this is actually a better method of putting it on your card as action replay fuxors it sometimes.  But I'm wondering why this keep happens (the black screen thing with the eject).  
If it will not effect my connecting to live and not being banned let me know Krazie.  It's not a problem to me it just raised a flag to me.

(probobly still get the black screen with eject).  But if it shouldn't effect my connecting to live successfully

Aight well i fuxed it i now have an error 21 because i deleted the fold biosld or whatever it was in the e partition.  so now i'm gonna make a rig and upload the gamesave to my memory card and run the exploit off my card to get ftp access.  I'm hoping I can install the exploit from the memory card and not have to copy it over tot he hard drive.  I beleive I can.

no you cant. installers dont work like that. Its Im possible to run it from the card.

Download Slayers 2.6. Then Cold Boot to it if possible. Then Choose the option to return to Retail. Then sit back and watch the repair in action. Then when its done remove disc and reboot.

What's the process of coldbooting again?  the guy uptop said that it involves booting the system with the disc inside.  I'm confused beause if i burned slayers it's not signed and it wouldn't boot.  I am downloading slayers though at this very moment and I appreciate your help.

you need to think about what has happened
1 bad softmod install (was there allready one installed you said "biosldr" )
2 error 21, most likely there is no dash for the softmod to boot
 if your lucky in will still boot a slayers disk (from NKPatcher)
 but if the shadowC is working, all it will do is update it and not fix the problem.
3 if you can get SC to cold boot then run the gamesave and if it works then use FTP to fix.
4 if the slayers disk boots but does not fix it you can make a PBL boot disk to get FTP working
 and have access to the real C and fix it
5 hotswap the HDD to xboxhdm (no need to hotswap if you have the EEPROM file)
