Restore Eeprom For A 1.6

is there a way to restore your eeprom on a 1.6 when eeprom is bad

yes there is
you can patch an eeprom to evox m8_16 with evtool, and yoshihiro just released an update to team assemblies config magic to support all xbox versions

so patch a valid 1.6 eeprom to the m8 bios to get xbox booted, tehn run configmagic 1.3 (i think taht's the version number he gave it, just get the newest one) and use that to fix the real onboard eeprom.  then flash a normal m8 bios back to your modchip and you are set

sorry, but evtool 1.0.9 doesnt support embeed eeprom ! so this solution cant work except you use newer/patched software which i couldnt find at the usual places.
