Alright i'm gonna take a stab at my problem and I want to see if anyone has any insight/experience with this kind of thing. Here's the story... my friend's xbox has an error 6 on it but his modchip is fine from what I can see. The lights are all on the soldered points look good and we even tried another friends chip that we know works and still the same error 6 shows up. Now he doesn't know much about modding and never locked the drive once he upgraded it... but I have a theory.
Can I embed his eeprom from his evox backup into a bios like 4891 and flash my xbox modchip with it. Then place his hdd into my xbox and lock it with config magic or will it not read the eeprom from the bios the way I think and fix this mess with error 6?
