Replacing The Bios On A Softmod.
« on: December 05, 2004, 09:03:00 AM »

I've seen this question asked many times, and have seen a lot of posters left hanging. Is there a way to replace the bios on a softmodded (lTools package) xbox? Has anyone been able to successfully do it?

If so, would you share what you did to replace the bios? What bios did you use (location from the usual places would help greatly.) What did you have to do to replace it?

I have tried a few times myself to figure this out. The xboxrom.bin file is not able to be opened using Xbtool or Evtool. I've replaced my bios with another BFM bios but my xbox freezes up on the loading of the new bios.
