Flashed Bios, Evox Not Working
« on: December 03, 2004, 04:03:00 PM »

Hi guys

Got a BIG problem that you might be able to help with.

I flashed the bios for a mates xbox.  I used a custom bios (X2 4981 with boot order default.xbe, evoxdash.xbe, avalaunch.xbe).

The bios I had in mine was the same except the boot order had avalaunch before evox.

I had first copied my C drive to his so that all files should be there.

DISASTER...  Now his chip dont boot.  His MS Dash works and will play originals.  But the chip just doesnt seem to work.  Have I fucked it?

We have tried loads of things, Tried booting up with slayers 2.5 & 2.6 = Nothing.
Swapped Hard discs with my xboxes (2 of) but nothing again.

Cant reflash chip without it booting up so what can I do?  Get a new chip?  Is that the only way?

Any help would obviously be much appreciated.

Cheers

Stewart
