M8+ And Live Blocking

I have a 1.6 box and my only choice is M8+. Just wondering if anyone knows if the evox team will come up with the live blocking feature soon.

Well, I found out just today that you can already do this.

Go grab the 1.4.1 version of the PBL-metoo exploit from the usual places. Inside you'll see Metoo-M8plus_16-06.bin. Flash this to your chip, and tada! 1.6 live blocking goodness smile.gif The metoo release even comes with a modified version of evtool without hash checking so you can load up that BIOS and edit it with whatever features you want!

PS: I hope live blocking gets added to evtool soono myself biggrin.gif

grr canna edit ya old posts now .,.

just found the bios and having a play ...
but in the readme ya got..

* Eject trick (improved over the original, can't be edited with EVtool)
* X2 style Xbox Live blocking (can't be edited)

which means if you DO edit anthing in the bios (like fan speed etc) then ya gonna loose those functions.. yes ??

No; that simply means you can't remove those features wink.gif Edit away with the enclosed evtool wink.gif

Is Metoo-M8plus_16-06.bin a BFM bios? If so, can it be used as normal mod chip bios? That is it can actually be flashed onto a mod chip?

OMG !! .. well this just RULES then !!
dont have to even wait for a new relase of ind-bios !!!

i just cannot believe this bios as been hush hush, and not so public !!

No, it's not a true BFM BIOS. Earlier versions were, and thus couldn't be used on chips. 1.4.1, however, can be, and so:

Hi, Ive got a Spider Chip, currently flashed with M8Plus_16,

can someone please tell me the easiest / best way to reflash this with the metoo version so I can have the Live blocking functionality ?

I do have Evox, but it is slayers so I dont know if that helps
