no, nothing else besides 1.6b support (I think this was said once)

-Gadget-, you can use EVTOOL to add lba48 and IGR support.

OK, so M8plus_16 has added 1.6B support
Any idea what the non-1.6 version M8plus offers in comparison to M8?

So here's my question. Is there something wrong with the original m8_16 bios? I don't have a 1.6b, but I'm worried that maybe some coding wasn't done completely right with the original m8_16 and I don't want my xbox or hd to crap out in a couple of months. Thanx

I believe all that was changed was the ram tables to support the new ram present in some 1.6 xboxes (commonly referred to as 1.6b)

If yours isn't a 1.6b and doesn't have the lockup issues, then the original M8 should be fine. I've been using it on some of my friend's xboxes without any issues (softmodded), but none of them were 1.6 or 1.6b

Actually there is a major change!
The .dds Evox logo has been moved slightly inwards so that it doesn't overlap on a 4:3 NTSC TV.
Looks so much neater smile.gif  wink.gif
M8 is great cool.gif

The line that says current, it has the hash for the bios you are booting.

Then just copy the hash, and make a new entry above with M8+
