This is what I'm doing been trying to fix this problem for some time to no avail. All help greatly appreciated.
1) Swapped out the original HD for a 160Gb segate
2) Flash with lba48 patched M8_16 bios (F: and G:) from salyers 2.6
3) Install slayers for a 'upgraded' HD
4) Lock HD
5) Boot up into EvoX get from green LED's on new bios screen to RED when EvoX starts.
6) Disable chip and boot into MS dash. LED's stay green.
7) Switch chip banks to original M8_16 on Duo2 X chip
Boot up EvoX, LED's stay green but HD not used to full capacity
