fan boys need not apply, i have the X3 in my personal xbox because its a 1.6. now why is that importent? because the 1.6 bios they have has live blocking. and i know they will support there new chip. its there cash cow. and please dont start with this shit about how they do it out of the kindness of there heart. its because they hack the bios is why they have so many people loyal to them. smartxx and xenium dont even have as much market as the xecutor team have. so yeah, i dont even like the X3 chip. infact i think the smartxx chip is way better... but for support for my 1.6 have have to use xecutor. because of there bios..... and they know that.

XboxDude87.... I am a modder so i pretty much test and install all chips there is. i have more then 1 box you n00blet. i own 4 xbox's. one is a dev kit, then a debug kit, a halo edition and a retarded black one. thats not the point. AS a modder i know people always bring xecutor chips because they hear its the best. why you ask? because of fan boys. and i tell them all the same... you didnt need this chip to do what you wanted, but to a point your right... most people dont know what chip to buy, they ask me so i tell them which they should pick. And yes stupid i do have to use xecutors bios for my 1.6 because i dont want to be banned, "hint hint" my comment about blocking the live feature but i guess in your quick hast you didnt read that part. shut up about my grammer. so what if i dont wanna put on commas... i guess people just bitch because they can.

I have 2 xboxs, one with a smartxx and the other with a xenium ice. I agree that Xecuter has more fanboys, but there's nothing anyone can do about that. Xecuter doesn't have a 1.6 bios?
I am a modder too, and lets not start name calling "n00blet"

Just about any gen 3 or gen 4 chips works on a 1.6. The only gen 3 bios that works is the evox M8, and as recent revelations it doesn't work well with 1.6b xboxes. So i'm sure that team xecuter will release a new bios that will most likely be multiboot so it's noob friendly cause they care. Multiboot is gonna require alot more coding and compression so give it time.
If you have a 1.6 - 1.6b Xbox use any gen 3 - gen 4 bios and then use Yoshihiro EvoX M8 bios.

| QUOTE | | Personally I always use M7 to flash xbox's and have never had a bios problem. X2 later versions after 4977 seem buggy for me. |

| QUOTE (Psilocybe @ Nov 5 2004, 06:20 AM) | | this isn't due to the chip, people running xbox 1.0-1.5 have no problems running an x2 bios off bank 1 |
In fact, with X2 4982 they had no choice but to run it off bank 1, as it crashed in bank 0... http://www.xbox-scen...yulYprVnIyK.php

yes, that was a bios issue, which is why 4983 came out, once again, not a hardware issue

team xecuter made the xecuter 2.6 aas an updated version of the xecuter 2.3b lite, so theres no real need for them to of made a special bios for it

With all the features you'd want in a bios now able to be used with m8 plus there's little need to continue to wait. Plus, you can customize m8plus with evtool, whereas the new version of X2 should it be release will likely be encrypted like 4983 and not moddable.

A few months ago, the last time news of the X2 Bios was released, X-Ecuter said he taked with Nightshade and the new version would be supported in Xbtool. I am starting to get a little bummed about how long it is taking, but hey, in the meantime m8plus seems to be working fine... I can't complain, after all, they do this bios stuff for free and it is in no way related to the hardware they sell
