Your config will work with 5003. If you want to use a config on F: then inject the new config path using the config tool.

I think he's talking about loading the text.x, flubber.x, and mslogo.bmp from his F: drive not just the ind-bios.cfg, but yes it is possible to load everything from F: that's what i do (XBL Safe)

You just have to unpack the ind-bios with xbtool and then open the xboxkrnl.img with a hex editor then do a text search for .cfg and then you'll see something like \Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\ind-bios.cfg and below this line you should see the rest of the .x and mslogo.bmp locations, but all you have to do is change Partition2 to Partition6 and then repack the bios with xbtool and flash your chip again

anyone know if iND-BiOS is still being developed or is the team/project dead? havent heard anything about it in a while.

btw, i'm using 5003 as my default bios since it was released and loving it!

also may i just check if the following are the only bugs/kinks that needs work?

1. white + back = shutoff
2. only works if HDD is unlocked
3. config injection
4. 1.6 support

if they are not bugs and meant to be that way, I apologise in advance.

anyone kno anything. o and 5003 works with unlocked hdds. it should

every xbox i tsop flashed with ind bios i kept the hdds unlocked incase the motherboard fries

OK so maybe i'm a BIG NOOB Here but how the heck can i get this to work i have tried to flash the bios with both .BIN files and i get the box to frag and restart all funky. Any help basically i would really like to change the text and xecuter logo below are my specs it any one has a tutorial that would KICK A$$. thanks in advance

A potential X2 BIOS killer looks really good to me as I've been having to switch back and forth between evox M7 and x2 4983 because M7 doesn't support IGR or G: drive and 4983 won't switch between NTSC and PAL games correctly.

Does anyone have any experience with any of these issues with this BIOS?

This is actually to Ind-bios 5003. If devs are reading i found that when you use igr modified boot sequence isn't used. So if you reset xbox with igr it tries to load evoxdash.xbe etc from C. I patched my 5003 so dashboard is run from F:\Dashboard. First boot everything works but after i run something and do igr ind-bios uses default boot sequence it had to before patching. Kind of sucks...
Tried both quck and compatible igrs same thing happens with both.
