Topic: Can't Open M8_16 Using X2bm?!? Help (Read 48 times)

I should probably be posting this in the noobie section as it is amature night around here...... but here goes anyway!

I am trying to burn a bios cd which I can use to flash a Xecuter 2.6 (cromwell). Xbox v1.6

When I try and open up the M8_16.bin file using x2bm, NOTHING HAPPENS! It will not open up in any bank.....
Has anyone else had/solved this problem? Please help me all you Xperts out there!

make sure it's 256kb or 512kb and use the latest x2bm software.

Did you edit it with EVTool first?

No I didn't edit it first. This is all new to me.

Guess I will have to get back into the tutorials and get my head around all this. I have only ever flashed a bios using cromwell and a cd! Noooooob.....
