On my Xbox, I created a 1MB bin file with Bank1/2 having the Cromwell 2.6 (it had the black flash screen as opposed to the blue one (2.6.0?) which came pre-flashed on my chip) and Bank 3/4 with the M8_16 BIOS.
The Xbox works fine, except I want to get all my 200 gigs on the HD.
I FTP in to the Xbox, pull out what I called the bin (M8_161MB.BIN).
I use EVtool to open it, and give everything to F, then save as. I'll save it as M8_161MBU.BIN.
So, I FTP it back to the Xbox.
I boot up, to flash and bank one, which brings up the black FlashBIOS menu. Goto C:\Bios, only it's not in the BIOS folder, it's just in the C root... I find it, selected it, and it halts instantly.
Does it need to be in the BIOS folder? or am I missing something in EVTool??
[edit: meh. just decided to be a lamer and use Slayers to fix the problem.]
