Bios Problem

My roommate tried to update my evox m7 137gb+ bios on my aladdin advance 64 with an x2 4977 which he said was 256k. Now when I tried to boot up the chip the led flashes as if it is trying to load and then will go to the normal green and boot into ms da$h. I did lock the hd and he said he used the backup option. He used an Unleash-X autoinstaller based on Slayer-X. Any suggestions on where I should go from here?

if the chip doesn't recognize the auto-installer cd in your drive and boots up the m$ dash hope that you have a aladdin with socket chip to replace it with a pre-flashed correct one. if it reconizes the cd and boots slay or what ever reflash a correct bios - as long as aladdin is switchable into flash-mode.
good luck

nope no luck with that already tried. Damn that really sucks, he said he read somewhere in the forum that x2 bioses were compatible with my chip. Any other way to try and access the auto-installer by way of softmod or something else?
