hi all need a little help ok ive just installed a modchip for a friend and upgraded his hardrive so he gave me his hardrive ive done a couple of softmods for friend with no problems  :) now im just learning how to use xboxhdm great little programe what i need to no is i want to use his hardrive in my modchiped xbox so i can play around with a couple of softmods installers when the chip is turned off  to see what is the best one to use and learn how to restore hardrives ive got it all up a runing xboxhdm with no problems do i need his eeprom from his xbox or can use my eeprom .at the moment when i start xboxhdm it say its lock what would i need to do to get this hardrive working on my xbox thanks for any help :)

do i need to unlock it with his eeprom and lock it with mine or is there a way to it with out his

You do not need to lock it with yours, all u need to do is load his eeprom on to your xbox... Then you can play with all that stuff. just make sure you have your own harddrive unlocked so that you do not loose access to it... But right now I am using the eeprom of the last persons xbox that i softmodded

well i do need to unlock it as because im useing xboxhdm on my pc and i need to unlock the drive so i can restore to retail as it came out of a mod chip xbox  :) how do i load another eeprom on my xbox thanks for any help
