Okay I have a softmoded Xbox with EvoX.  My box is a 1.6, and I have a 250Gig disk in it.  I have been able to play most of the games except "Dead or Alive Ultimate 2".  so unlike a noob I did a search and found that 3 people had the similar problem and posted.  So I did what worked for which was to clear out the files in the "Cache" directory under either E: or X, Y, Z.  Well that got only the orginal DVD working but not my back up ( which I made using quix and burned it at 4x with nero), or did it work when I FTPed the files into the F: drive using flashFXP.  It freezes on the open screen which gives you the entire sheel of not copying blah blah!  And I have looked under each partition and not found any other "Cache" directory to clear.  So I was wondering if anyone knew what my problem is.....  Before I could mod my brother had his done by someone I don't what is version of box is but I know the game works on both HD and the backups that I made work on his box.  which makes me think maybe I have a setting wrong or I'm missing something really small.....  Please advice.

you need another bios - meetoo 1.4.1 worked for me, 1.4.0 did not. also, nkpatcher works fine with that game.

Thank you!  That was it!  Before you wrote this I was doing reading on Crimson Sky and  the mentioned something about the bios too.  So when I got your response I went and got the lastest metoo bios, and ftped it over into the box into the directory called BiosLD, and rebooted and it worked with both the game on the harddrive and backup.  Again thank you!!
