Question About 4983
« on: October 01, 2004, 02:47:00 PM »

I have a X2 4983 bios disk made and used it when I setup my box with my X2.3b pro chip.  I am using the Evox dash and on the menu screen it displays my dash version: 3935, but nder BIOS it says unknown.  There have been no problems with running games and such I just want to know if this means anything.  The ONLY prob I have had so far is the emulator surreal64 does not run and alot of people have been saying I need to upgrade my BIOS.  4983 is the latest X2 BIOS available correct?  Thanks for any replies they are appreciated.

cause Evox doesnt have the md5 number on the ini for that bios.

enter the ini and look for this

CODE

[BIOS]

#
ROM  = "EvoX 2.0",0x76fd88337b8d8c1f116f85f3984b98b6

on ROM add a new one.

like this

the name between " " can be anything you like , doesnt need to be X2.4983 , Xbtool gives you the Md5 of the bios , but it cannot edit X2.4983 , if you edit the flubber with Kernelbasher that number will change. the number that is there is the 4983 md5 number , just copy it and paste it on the evox ini.
