Another Bios Needed For Large Disk Support ?

Hi.
I popped in a blank 200GB harddisk in my xbox yesterday, and chose the full install/rebuild large HD - *C* 5960 option. I have an X2 chip with evoX M7 ej bios. My problem is that G: shows as 0, even though I tried to format it from the autoinstaller disk. Do I have to upgrade my bios to get Large HD support ? I thought that M7 supported G: ....
Also, if I upgrade the bios using the prgrammer for the X2 chip, does that affect the Slayer installation, or will that work fine with a new bios ?
