Well, it should anyways.

First off, I want to thank Team Xecuter for their hard efforts of adapting this flashbios to work on V1.6 consoles.  Without your hard effort many of us would be lost in this hobby!  :beer:

On to the changes:

I restored the few snippets of code removed to prevent flashing of non Xecuter mods.  I also put back in the GPL copyright message that was commented out [why!!?].  Also changed the flashing message to say "FLASHING MODCHIP" instead of "FLASHING XECUTER 2".

Lastly, I removed the link to Team Xecuter's website.  The last thing they need are people annoying them about unauthorized (legal) hacked BIOSes!  Keep it on forums like this one where it belongs.

If your mod isn't supported, sorry... I tested this on:

- A V1.0 Xbox using cheapmod ST49LF020 flash and also an Aladdin Advance.  Both flashed marvelously from DVD.

No, I didn't try anything else, sorry.  I don't see any reason that this shouldn't work on new V1.6 xboxes, though.  I'd love for someone to tell me if it does or not, but unfortunately, if it doesn't, I can't fix it (Can't code that well, sorry!)  If I manage to test it on a V1.6 I'll let you know.

Is cromwell dude , you cant run unsigned code with it , is only for flashing chips , it will not work with xbtool since it doesnt launch anything.

I know its a newb question but can i just burn this to cd-rw and put it in my xbox, or do i have to do loads with it first. I've just installed my x-ecuter2.6 on a v1.0 if that helps at all? again sorry for the noob question.

It's a flashBIOS.  If you don't have it on your chip already, then you probably won't care about it.   biggrin.gif
