put in a cdrw with the bios file of your choice (I recommend x2 4981) named to "bios.bin".

I tried to flash it and it didn't work and now it just sits and the xbox screen and does nothing else. also the leds are blinking red and green. When I push the eject button an error screen comes up. Error 13 saying the dashboard can't be launched. What do I do now.

Sorry correction to the last one. When i turn it on by the power button it just stays at the xbox screen and the leds are flashing red and green. When I turn it on by the eject button a screen comes up saying "ERROR 13 unable to load dashboard". What did I do wrong and how do I fix this problem?

what bios did you use?

We used xcuiter bios

If you can, use the external db25 parallel port and use a db25 cable(some printers use them) to connect your computer to your port. download xecuter 2 BIOS manger from xbox-scene, put the BIOS you want in one of the banks in the manager, turn on your xbox with the chip disabled and only switch 4 on, click on the bank you want to flash inside the manager, and click flash.

It also wouldn't hurt to search for something that can only take up a few minutes....check the tut's in xbox-scene.com
